RuZakaz

In May 2017 the RuZakaz platform experienced a significant data breach affecting its information system for tenders and public procurement. RuZakaz provided analytical data on government auctions and corporate participants. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 240000 records. The compromised data included personal contact information of business representatives and detailed corporate identifiers. The breach likely occurred due to a vulnerability in the web application or an unsecured database configuration allowing unauthorized access to the search systems backend storage.
