In 2023 a database belonging to SamuTech was discovered on public forums following a large scale parsing operation. The application which serves as a spam identification tool suffered data exposure involving 5.7 million records. The leaked information primarily consists of mobile phone numbers and their associated spam reputation scores ranging from zero to five. This exposure allows third parties to link phone numbers with specific spam activity levels and potential user metadata harvested during the scraping process.
