In December 2020 a data breach of the Sandpex Minecraft server known as SandMc was identified. The exposed database dump dated back to the beginning of 2020 and contained sensitive user information. The incident involved the exposure of player account details due to unauthorized access to the server infrastructure. The leak primarily affected the Russian gaming community and included security credentials stored via the AuthMe plugin. A subsequent security incident involving the same server was reported in early 2021 indicating persistent vulnerabilities within their systems.
