SandPex

In July 2021 the SandPex Minecraft gaming server experienced a significant data security incident resulting in the exposure of player information. The breach compromised approximately 340000 unique records. The leaked data contained player usernames along with IP addresses and sensitive authentication details stored as Authme hashes. This incident followed a previous security compromise reported at the start of 2020 indicating persistent vulnerabilities within the server infrastructure. The leak allowed unauthorized access to player profiles and potential tracking of user network locations through exposed IP logs.
