The French Minecraft server SenaCraft experienced a significant security breach resulting in the exposure of its user database. Approximately 66 thousand user records were leaked and published online. The compromised information includes player nicknames, email addresses, and passwords stored as MD5 hashes. This leak poses a risk to users who reuse their credentials across other gaming or social platforms, as MD5 is considered a weak hashing algorithm susceptible to cracking.
