In early 2024 a significant data incident involving the Ukrainian insurance company TAS SG was identified. Although the breach likely occurred around 2021 the data surfaced later on underground forums. The leak consists of two main datasets including three million insurance policy records and five hundred thousand records of individuals traveling abroad. The exposed information focuses on technical and financial details such as Tax Identification Numbers known as TIN or INN vehicle identification numbers and machinery models. It also includes residency cities and specific details regarding insurance contract dates and payment amounts. Notably the database lacks direct contact identifiers like personal names or phone numbers but contains sensitive vehicle and tax data.
