ShadowCraft.ru

In late 2016 the Russian Minecraft gaming project ShadowCraft.ru experienced a significant security breach affecting both its main server and forum platforms. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 350000 records across two separate database dumps. The compromised data includes user nicknames, email addresses, and passwords stored as MD5x2 or MD5 plus salt hashes. The breach was attributed to unauthorized access to the server infrastructure, leading to the public release of user credentials on various underground forums and data sharing sites.
