ShotBow

In May 2016 the Minecraft multiplayer network ShotBow experienced a significant security breach. An unauthorized party gained access to the database containing sensitive user information. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 1.4 million records belonging to unique users. The compromised data included email addresses and salted SHA-256 password hashes. This breach highlights the risks associated with gaming community platforms and the importance of using strong unique passwords across different services.
