About this leak
In July 2012 the private Runescape server community known as SilabGarza suffered a significant data breach involving its forum database. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive user information from the sg-forum.info domain. Unauthorized access led to the extraction of a database containing over 105 thousand unique user records. The leaked data included personal identifiers and security credentials which were stored using MD5 hashing with salt salts providing a low level of protection against modern cracking techniques. This breach was part of a larger trend of targeting gaming communities and private servers during that period.
