Silver.ru

In August 2022 the database of the Russian radio station Silver Rain known as silver.ru was compromised and leaked online. The incident exposed approximately 25 thousand records from the websites user base. The breach included sensitive personal information and security credentials. Data was circulated on various darknet forums and telegram channels specialized in data leaks. The technical nature of the leak involved an export of the user table including password hashes with salt which poses a risk of credential cracking if weak hashing algorithms were used.
