In late November 2024 a significant data breach occurred at Sirppi.fi a Finnish agricultural management platform. The incident exposed sensitive information of approximately 8500 users. The leaked dataset includes personal identifiers such as full names email addresses and usernames. Additionally mobile phone numbers and passwords secured with Bcrypt hashing algorithms were part of the exposure. The breach represents a targeted compromise of a specialized service used primarily by farmers and agricultural professionals in Finland.
