In October 2023 the Russian automotive classifieds platform Smeni-Auto was targeted by a large scale data collection operation. An unknown actor performed automated parsing to scrape information from the website. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 64 thousand advertisements. The data set includes personal contact details of individuals who posted ads such as names and phone numbers along with detailed technical specifications of the vehicles being sold on the platform.
