Sogaz

In April 2023 an extensive SQL database dump of the Russian insurance company Sogaz Life was leaked online. The data breach exposed approximately 8.3 million records containing sensitive personal information belonging to clients. The leaked data originated from a snapshot dated October 2022 and included a variety of personal identifiers such as full names birth dates and contact details. Additionally the breach compromised security credentials including usernames and passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt. This incident highlights a significant exposure of financial and personal data from one of the major insurance providers in the region.
