Stalker.so

In 2020 an unidentified threat actor successfully breached the official database server of the multiplayer online game Stalker Online. The resulting data leak exposed the personal information of approximately 1.3 million registered players. The compromised dataset was subsequently leaked on various underground forums and public hosting sites. The breach involved the extraction of sensitive user credentials and contact details due to vulnerabilities in the server infrastructure. Security researchers identified that the passwords within the dump were either stored in plain text or protected by weak SHA1 hashing with salt making them highly susceptible to cracking attempts.
