About this leak

In early 2012 the popular live video streaming platform Stickam suffered a significant security breach. The incident resulted in the unauthorized access and extraction of a user database containing approximately 530000 records. The compromise included sensitive personal identifiers such as usernames, email addresses, and plain text or weakly hashed passwords. Stickam was a pioneer in the live streaming space but eventually ceased operations in February 2013 shortly after the data began circulating in the underground web communities. The breach exposed users to credential stuffing and phishing attacks across other platforms where they might have reused the same credentials.
