Stoneworks

In April 2022 the popular Minecraft roleplay server known as Stoneworks suffered a significant data security incident. The breach resulted in the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive technical and personal information belonging to approximately 63500 unique players. The exposed data included internal identifiers such as Minecraft UUIDs along with associated player usernames and network connection details specifically IP addresses. This type of exposure can lead to targeted attacks such as DDoS or tracking of users across different gaming platforms and services.
