About this leak
In June 2020 the Russian Minecraft server network known as StreamCraft experienced a significant data security incident. An unauthorized party managed to access and extract the user database containing information of approximately 1.8 million players. The exposed dataset included sensitive details such as player nicknames, email addresses, and IP addresses used for connection. Furthermore, the breach involved user passwords which were stored using the Bcrypt hashing algorithm. The incident highlights the risks associated with private gaming servers and the potential for large scale credential exposure within the gaming community.
