StripChat

In November 2021 the adult webcam platform StripChat left multiple databases exposed and unprotected due to a server misconfiguration. This security lapse allowed unauthorized access to sensitive information. By June 2022 the stolen data surfaced on a well known hacking forum. The breach impacted millions of users and models worldwide revealing personal identifiers and technical metadata collected during their sessions on the site.
