Subway13 is the regional franchise website for the Subway restaurant chain in Russia. In early February 2022 a data breach occurred involving the exposure of a database containing customer and employee information. The incident revealed sensitive order details including physical delivery addresses and location coordinates along with payment transaction data. The breach was primarily caused by a lack of security on the server hosting the regional web application which allowed unauthorized access to the customer database and internal staff records.
