In January 2017 the gaming community known as SuperFunTime experienced a significant security incident. The breach involved the unauthorized access and compromise of its user database which was subsequently shared across various hacking forums. The leak was primarily attributed to vulnerabilities in the forum software used by the platform at that time allowing attackers to extract sensitive member information and authentication details.
