On September 9 2022 the database of the Technonikol Construction Academy website was exposed in the public domain. The security incident resulted in the compromise of personal data belonging to approximately 76 thousand users. The leaked information includes user logins full names email addresses and mobile phone numbers. Technical details show that passwords were also included in the leak stored as MD5 hashes with salt and SHA512-Crypt hashes making them vulnerable to offline cracking attempts. The breach appears to be a direct data dump from the academy management system providing access to student and professional contact details.
