The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of the forum database. Exposed data included user email addresses, nicknames, and passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt. This leak is particularly significant for members of the German tech community as it compromised credentials used on one of the oldest and most popular mobile discussion platforms in the region.
