Teyla is an internet service provider based in Saint Petersburg Russia. On June 4 2024 a data breach was identified involving the companys web portal. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive information related to approximately 4700 users. The leaked dataset contains personal identifiers and security credentials. Specifically the compromised data includes user nicknames email addresses and IP addresses. Additionally passwords were found in the leak stored as MD5 hashes with salt alongside various profile metadata. This breach poses a risk for credential stuffing attacks and targeted phishing against the affected subscribers.
