TicketIQ

In March 2016 the ticket search engine TicketIQ experienced a data breach that exposed user information. The incident involved the unauthorized access or exposure of a database containing details of approximately 15400 registered users. The leaked dataset included personal identifiers and technical tracking data linked to customer accounts. This breach allowed third parties to view user activity locations and connection details which could be used for targeted phishing or unauthorized tracking of the affected individuals. The scale of the incident was limited to a specific subset of the user base but highlighted vulnerabilities in the platforms data storage practices at that time.
