In April 2023 the Ukrainian ecommerce platform Tie.com.ua specializing in fashion accessories suffered a data breach. Threat actors managed to gain unauthorized access to the customer database resulting in the exposure of approximately 47000 order records. The compromised data includes personal identification details and contact information of customers who used the service. This incident highlights ongoing cyber threats targeting retail platforms in the region and the risks associated with storing unencrypted customer transaction data.
