In April 2020 the Ukrainian online store TimeShop experienced a security incident that led to the exposure of its customer database. The breach involved two primary tables containing sensitive information about users and their purchase history. The compromised data included personal identities and transaction logs which were subsequently circulated on various underground forums. Security researchers identified that the leak resulted from an unprotected database or a technical vulnerability allowing unauthorized access to the internal storage systems of the retailer. This incident exposed the shopping habits and contact details of thousands of Ukrainian consumers.
