Tuned Global

In January 2021 a massive collection of compromised databases was released on a public hacking forum including data from Tuned Global. The breach actually originated in 2016 and exposed nearly one million user records. The incident is particularly severe because user passwords were stored in plain text format without any encryption or hashing. The exposed data includes a wide range of personal identifiers such as full names physical locations and contact details which significantly increases the risk of credential stuffing and identity theft for the affected music streaming platform users.
