Turkey GSM Database 2023

In June 2023 a massive database allegedly containing information on the entire population of Turkey was leaked on a darknet forum. The breach includes personal identification numbers known as T.C. Kimlik No which serve as national ID and corresponding mobile phone numbers. The data appears to have originated from Turkish telecommunications providers and reflects records up to 2022. This exposure poses a significant risk for identity theft and social engineering attacks across the country due to the scale of 116 million records.
