A massive data breach involving Twitter users surfaced in early 2023 following the exploitation of a zero day vulnerability in the API. This vulnerability allowed malicious actors to link phone numbers and email addresses to user accounts. The resulting dataset contains records for millions of users including public profile information alongside private contact details. The breach stems from a security flaw discovered in late 2021 that was subsequently patched in early 2022 but not before several threat actors scraped the data. The collection includes usernames names and verified status along with the sensitive identifiers.
