Universarium

A significant data breach occurred involving the Russian educational platform Universarium also known as the Remote Preparation Faculty of IT specialties. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive user information from an unprotected database. The leak contained plain text credentials and personal contact details of students and staff members. This security failure allowed unauthorized access to internal communication logs and user account information which was subsequently distributed in the public domain during late 2019.
