In 2017 the Russian service UrbanPoint experienced a significant security breach resulting in the exposure of approximately 47 thousand user records. The incident occurred due to an external hack targeting the platform database. The leaked information contained highly sensitive data including cleartext passwords, full names, and email addresses. Additionally, the data dump included order histories, dates of birth, specific device information, and geographic location coordinates of the affected users.
