VenomPvP a Minecraft gaming server suffered a data breach in February 2017. The incident resulted in the exposure of user account details through an unauthorized access to the database. The leak contained sensitive information including usernames and passwords stored as hashes which were subsequently circulated in the gaming community and on various hacking forums. This breach affected players who used the server for competitive player versus player gameplay.
