Villavu

In 2014 the Runescape scripting community known as Villavu suffered a significant data breach affecting approximately 137000 users. The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of the forum database. Compromised information included member usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and passwords stored as vBulletin hashes. This exposure put users at risk of credential stuffing attacks and unauthorized account access across gaming related platforms.
