The incident involved automated data extraction techniques known as parsing which allowed for the harvesting of approximately 25000 unique records. The exposed information includes personal contact details such as mobile numbers alongside user names and detailed metadata regarding various goods listed for sale on the platform. This type of exposure often leads to targeted spam and phishing campaigns against the affected sellers.
