UA Relectorate 2006

In 2006 a massive database containing the personal information of the entire Ukrainian electorate was exposed. This incident involved approximately 36 million records of citizens eligible to vote. The data included highly sensitive personal identifiers such as full names, exact dates of birth, and detailed places of birth and residence. Additionally, the records specified the exact polling station numbers assigned to each individual. This breach represents one of the most significant historical exposures of national voter data in Eastern Europe, potentially facilitating identity theft or political profiling.
