In February 2023 an attacker known as IntelBroker leaked a database belonging to the grocery delivery service Weee on a popular hacking forum. The breach impacted approximately 11 million orders placed between mid 2021 and mid 2022. The exposed data contained sensitive customer information including names and contact details as well as specific delivery instructions left for couriers. While the total number of records reached 11 million the incident contained roughly 1.1 million unique email addresses. The company confirmed that payment information was not affected as they do not store full credit card numbers on their systems.
