WineLab 2024

In July 2024 a significant data breach occurred at WineLab a major Russian alcohol retailer. The incident resulted from unauthorized access to the company database. Initially a sample of 400 thousand records was released but by early 2025 a more comprehensive dataset containing over 8 million unique customer records began circulating on darknet forums. The leaked information includes personal identification details such as full names mobile phone numbers and email addresses which could be used for targeted phishing or social engineering attacks against the customers.
