In early 2017 the Romanian gaming community XGamers suffered a significant data breach. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the forum database which was subsequently leaked on various underground hacking platforms. The breach exposed sensitive user information including login credentials and personal identifiers. This leak is commonly associated with older vBulletin or IPB vulnerabilities which were frequently exploited during that period targeting gaming communities across Europe.
