Xsplit

In November 2013 the developers of XSplit a popular video streaming and mixing application suffered a major security breach. Attackers gained unauthorized access to the service databases resulting in the exposure of sensitive user information. The incident affected approximately 2.9 million users. The leaked data included account identifiers such as usernames and email addresses along with password hashes which posed a significant security risk to the community and required a massive password reset operation by the company.
