The Middle Eastern wholesale and retail trading platform Yallatager experienced a data breach in late 2023. An unauthorized party gained access to the database containing information of approximately 15 thousand registered users and store owners primarily based in Egypt. The compromised data included sensitive personal identifiers and business related information which could be used for phishing or social engineering attacks targeting regional traders.
