Yandex Go

In 2019 a security incident involving Yandex Go resulted in the exposure of personal information belonging to taxi drivers. The breach originated from an unauthorized access to a specific service component of the aggregator. The leaked dataset contained sensitive details including contact numbers and full names of drivers alongside vehicle information such as car models and registration numbers. The majority of the affected individuals were based in Moscow and surrounding regions. This incident highlighted vulnerabilities in the storage of contractor data within large scale transportation platforms and allowed third parties to access private professional records of approximately twenty four thousand employees.
