Youku

The Chinese video hosting giant Youku experienced a massive data breach in late 2016. The incident involved the exposure of approximately 92 million unique user accounts. The leaked database contained sensitive user credentials including email addresses and passwords stored as MD5 hashes. This breach is considered one of the largest involving a Chinese platform and the data was later circulated on various underground hacking forums and marketplaces.
