A data breach occurred on the Vietnamese social networking platform Youth.com.vn on November 12 2024. The incident resulted in the exposure of personal information for approximately 21 thousand users. The leaked dataset contains sensitive details including full names, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth. Additionally, the leak included physical addresses and linked social media profiles for Facebook and Google. Security analysis confirms that user passwords were also compromised in the form of bcrypt hashes, which poses a significant risk for credential stuffing attacks if not updated immediately.
