In January 2019 the Indonesian career platform YouthManual suffered a significant data breach. The incident involved the unauthorized access and exposure of a database containing sensitive user information. The compromised data included full names, email addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, and passwords stored as SHA-1 hashes. Approximately 1.1 million registered users were affected by this security failure. The data was later found circulating in the hacker community and on various darknet forums as part of a larger collection of breached databases.
