The incident led to the exposure of sensitive user information for approximately 328000 accounts. The data was compromised due to insufficient security measures on the platform which resulted in the theft of personal credentials. The leaked information contained usernames and email addresses along with passwords that were stored in an unencrypted plaintext format making them immediately accessible to unauthorized parties.
