Zoosk 2011

In 2011 reports emerged regarding a massive security breach affecting the online dating platform Zoosk. The incident allegedly exposed approximately 53 million user accounts. The compromised data included user email addresses and passwords stored in plain text format. While the authenticity of the database was debated by some security researchers at the time of the leak, it has been widely circulated in the underground community. This event predates another significant breach of the same service that occurred later in 2020 which affected 24 million users.
